The Indian Air Forces attacked Pakistan with a group of Mirage 2000 Indian Fighter jets, striking three terror camps.
As per early reports, India destroyed the Pak-based terror camps in Balakot, Chakothi and Muzaffarabad in 21 minutes. Jaish-e-Mohammad camps were completely destroyed.
Since the attack took during the night, laser-guided bombs were used. Drones and mid-air refuellers were also used.
"The Pakistani side has confirmed that a 'payload' (weapon) has been dropped near Balakot. Now, that is a very deep strike indeed by the Indian Air Force. And if Indian jets have come back unharmed from this, a superb mission indeed," says Manu Pubby. At the time of writing this piece, no official word was there.
"The last time IAF Mirages fired in anger was in Kargil, 20 years ago. Today’s bombings are a testament to the faith the Air Force has in these beautiful jets," writes Shiv Aroor.
