India's Covid-19 data: Data for 24 hours, cumulative figures & more

As on July 30 (8:00 AM), India has got 1,583,792 confirmed cases. Active cases are 528,242 in number. Number of Cured/Discharged/Migrated stands at 1,020,582. Fatalities are 34,968 in number. Death rate in the country is 2.21%.

In the last 24 hours, there were 52,123 positive cases, while 775 patients succumbed to Covid-19. More than 32,553 patients recovered in one day.

Prof. Shamika Ravi measured that active cases are doubling in 25 days. Highest daily new cases are coming from Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, in that order.

In terms of total tests and positivity rate over time for different States, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand are showing a positivity rate of less than 5%.

Prof. Ravi says that tests per million in the case of India stands at 12,860. For Japan, it is 8,030. For Thailand, it is 10,100.
