The total number of coronavirus cases in India has crossed the unfortunate 2 lakhs mark and is currently at a whopping 2,07,615 as per the official reports and data released by Health Ministry and on the positive note, the number of recoveries have gone past one lakh mark.

Unfortunately, the Coronavirus death toll has gone up to 5,815, with 8,909 fresh cases and 217 deaths reported in last 24 hours. The Health Ministry has announced that currently there are 1,01,497 active covid cases and 1,00,302 cases of recovery, with the recovery rate being 48.31%.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in India crossed the 2-lakh mark today and as a shocking fact, 1 lakh people were infected in the last 15 days alone. India reported it's first COVID-19 case was in Kerala on January 30, and the first 1 lakh cases took 110 days to reach, on May 18. As per Health ministry, 70% of Corona deaths are people with comorbidities.
