There is no doubt that MS Dhoni is one of the most loved players in the history of cricket. The former Indian captain has not only amassed a huge fan following across the world but is revered by his teammates as well.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has expressed his fondness for Dhoni on numerous occasions and one such recent gesture by the captain has left several viewers pleased. A group of spectators held a placard which read "We miss you MS Dhoni" during India's 2nd T20I against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), to which Virat Kohli responded "Me too" using hand gestures. A video of the incident has also gone viral on social media. Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket on August 15 this year. Despite his appearance in the IPL, fans have missed seeing the former skipper on field in his blue jersey. Soon after Dhoni announced his retirement, Virat Kohli posted a minute long video, thanking the former for his friendship and belief. He also mentioned that Dhoni would always remain his captain.

"Words fall short a lot of times in life and I think this is one of those moments. All I can say is that you will always be that guy who sat in the last seat of the bus. We have shared a great camaraderie, friendship, understanding because we have always played for the same roles, same goals, which was to make the team win. It's been a pleasure playing under you, alongside you. You showed belief in me, which I would always be grateful for. I have said it before, I will say it again, you will always be my captain," Kohli had stated.
