Indecisive Naga Shourya dumped

Naga Shourya had to his credit his first hit in Kalyana Vaibhogame. After delivering four flops (Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, Lakshmi Rave Maa Intiki, Jadugadu, Abbayitho Ammayi), Nandini Reddy's film gave him the much-needed respite. Among his forthcoming films are Oka Manasu (directed by Rama Raju) in which he is paired opposite Niharika Konidela. The film is slated for a May release. Jo Achyutananda, directed by Srinivas Avasara (he is teaming up with his Oohalu Gusagusalade director for the second time) and produced by Sai Korrapati, is on the floors.
On the flip side, it's learnt that Naga Shourya has lost an opportunity to do a film under Sukumar's production. Director Ram Akella reportedly approached him with a narration, but the actor took an indefinite period to take a call. Since the producer-director duo could not wait for his final nod any longer, they are learnt to have dumped him for another young hero.
Looks like Naga Shourya is somewhat anxious about the kind of image he wants to carve for himself. May be, after the success of Kalyana Vaibhogame, he believes he has the luxury to reject chocolate boy-kinda roles as he dislikes such roles.
