Trisha may be the number one heroine in Tollywood in terms of remuneration and prestige value of films. But the most happening actress in terms of roles and effectiveness should be Charmi.
The young and gamine-charmed actress has been threatening to launch herself into the big league for quite some time without ever really doing so.
But now, she has announced her arrival through Anukokunda Oka Roju. This brilliant film was single-handled was carried through the impressive histrionics of Charmi.
That was the message that the industry was looking for. It made them sure that Charmi was ready for the big league.
Already she has films with Balakrishna, Prabhas (Pournami). Now the talk is that she is to be played as the heroine in V V VinayakÂs film for Venkatesh. The film tentatively title Lakshmi will also have another heroine (most likely Sada).
But Charmi, in the current vein of form, is sure to walk away with al the plaudits.
