Kick-starting a global initiative with an educational workshop called BodyTalk at Sebright Primary School in London, Shilpa joined the likes of 'Desperate Housewives' actress Andrea Bowen, T4's Miquita Oliver, Blue Peter's Zoe Salmon and ex-Atomic Kitten Liz McClarnon, who have earlier conducted similar workshops in various schools across Britain.

Facilitating a discussion about personality development with a class of youngsters in the age group of 11 to 14 years, Shilpa said, "There have been moments in my career where I have struggled with self-esteem, so I'm really pleased to be doing this workshop. As a person in the public eye, I understand the important role I can play in making a difference to the way young people feel about themselves."

"Using her iconic stature in UK to advantage, Shilpa gave the workshop her best shot to inspire and influence the young guns. She also educated them on a wider definition of beauty and the reality behind the images of beauty they see in the media," informed Shilpa's publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

The workshop was supported by 'Beat', UK's leading eating-disorders charity. Expanding their horizons, the 'Dove Self- Esteem Fund' aims to reach maximum youngsters worldwide through similar educational campaigns and workshops in future.
