The shooting for Rajini starrer Sivaji is on at full flow in Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad. It began with cinematographer K V Anand cranking a dance sequence featuring Rajinikanth clad in the costume of a Egyptian prince dancing with Shreya with over 60 junior artistes.

The set was put up at a huge cost where the song was shot possessing all grandeur and richness one would normally associate with Shankar's films.

Sivaji is the 167th venture of AVM in their 60th year of production. It has big names like Rajinikanth, Shankar and Rehman coming together for the first time.

Rumors are agog that AVM's other production venture Tirupathi starring Ajith Kumar might opt for a name change. Sources close to production house say Tirupathi would be titled Theepori.
