Actress Rishika Singh the find of 2011 in Kannada cinema not for acting but for showing her skin has asked a pertinent question when some of the media friends asked her after watching the songs from her latest film 'Benki Birugali'.

I am in a beach song and I cannot wear Saree like 'Gowramma' and dance. Beach song means it has its own costume says the actress from highly reputed family of SV Rajendra Singh Babu. So far I have been given only two films - Kanteerava and Kalla Malla Sulla. In 'Benki Birugali' of Basheed I am the only surviror of the six heroines in the film. In the next film of the same director I am playing a powerful role with Bollywood sensation Mallika Sherawat. This will be in two languages is what Rishika Singh has ascertained from director cum producer SK Basheed.

I am not saying I am not for decent and family oriented roles. I cannot do the roles of what my grandmother Protima Devi has done. The time has changed. I cannot always maintain the tradition and customs.

Tall and well built Rishika Singh is waiting for her father noted director SV Rajendra Singh Babu to call her for a film. Meanwhile she is playing the sister to Ramesh Aravind in 'Thunthuru' of director Mussanje Mahesh.
