Imtiaz Ali's Geet ready to roll

We last saw him direct Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia in Socha Na Tha. Post that he vanished from the scene leaving behind A great deal of spculation about what he would do next.
Well, Imtiaz is now ready with his next film that will hit the floors very soon. Titled Geet produced by Shreya Creations and HMV, the film will star Ayesha Takia as a vibrant and vivacious Punjabi kudi. She was the best choice for the film as the director shares a great rapport with her since their first film together.
The lead actor in the film isn't Abhay Deol this time, but Bobby Deol. He fit the bill better as the role was that of a mature businessman struck by loneliness and depression someone who is already on the verge of committing suicide (somewhat like TV actress Kuljit Randhawa).
The film, a musical love story, will roll this summer. Apart from Geet, Imtiaz Ali is doing three films. One of them is Highway with Sunny Deol in the lead.
News is that he's also been approached to do a sequel to Betaab by good friend Sunny Deol. The other details of the films are yet to be finalized. But the handsome director will be back on the hot circuits soon with a big bang!
