Veteran actor Vadivelu's role in Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi is one of the most memorable ones in his career. After almost a decade since the release of the film, its sequel went on floors a few years ago which also marked the reunion of Vadivelu, director Shankar and Chimbu Deven. However, after few issues between the actor and the production team, the film was put on hold.

The makers of the film registered a formal complaint at the Producers Council and sought their help to make Vadivelu act in the sequel. The council members apparently met Vadivelu to discuss and sort out the issues. As the issue could not be sought Isari Ganesh of Vel's Film International, on the other hand, opted to find a solution for the problem surrounding the film.

And now the good news has finally arrived. Look like the hitch is finally solved and the Producers union has released a statement that reads S. Pictures Shankar, a member of the Tamil Film Producers' Association, had lodged a complaint against Mr Vadivelu. In connection with the above complaint, the executives of the Tamil Film Producers Association, actor Mr Vadivelu and Shankar were contacted in person and the issue was resolved smoothly".

If things go well Vadivelu will most likely give a comeback through this film. Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi 2' is a sequel to Chimbu Devan's 'Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi.' Vadivelu will be seen in the lead role as the previous part and fans are waiting for the official announcement.
