Imran Khan-Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Katti Batti' to go on floors in September

For a while grapevines have been abuzz about Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut being paired up in Nikhil Advani's forthcoming film Katti Batti'...And now the film reported to have been confirmed by UTV Motion Pictures, under which it will be produced. "#UTVMotionPictures is kicked to announce #KattiBatti! Romance rocks with director #NikhilAdvani. Starring #ImranKhan and #KanganaRanaut," posted UTV on social networking sites.

The film's shooting is slated to kick start in September, according to sources. Katti Batti' is a modern day romance about a quirky couple - Maddy (Imran) and Payal (Kangana).

The script of Katti Batti' has been written by fresher Anshul Singhal.

Incidentally the production house said to have taken nearly one year to decide on the lead cast while the script was ready in the first place.
