Imran Khan becomes a fool after fake anti-India post

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Friday night became a laughing stock, a dangerous fool at that, when he tweeted out an old video of violence from Bangladesh and projected it as belonging to the "Indian police's pogrom against Muslims in Uttar Pradesh".

Soon after the video was posted by the Pak PM, several Twitter handles in India shamed him for resorting to shameless propaganda. Khan had no option but to delete the tweet.

On Saturday, India has described Khan as part of the gang of "repeat offenders".

The UP police had done their best in quelling the misinformation. "This video is not from U.P, but from a May 2013 incident in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) written on the vests at 0:21s, 1:27s or the Bengali spoken, or these links would help you be better informed," an official Twitter handle said.
