Imran Khan's Advice to Pakistan, Michael Vaughan's Brutal Reply

Before the India-Pakistan match yesterday, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, former cricketer Imran Khan, took to Twitter to give tips to his team. He spoke about the role of mental strength in the game, and also said the power of the mind would decide the outcome of the match. The 1992 World Cup winning captain also provided strategies to the team. He said in a tweet: “4/5 1. In order ro have a winning offensive strategy Sarfaraz must go in with specialist batsmen and bowlers because Raillu Kattas rarely perform under pressure - especially the intense kind that will be generated today. 2. Unless pitch is damp, Sarfaraz must win the toss & bat.”

The current Pakistan captain, however, opted to bowl first when he won the toss. And the team also went on to lose the match. This prompted former English cricketer Michael Vaughan to react saying:

“The skipper obviously isn’t on Twitter PM ..” Of course, netizens have begun to weigh in on the matter with their comments. Be sure to check them out.
