Imran-Katrina to enjoy another success with 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'

Not many films are lucky to enjoy a solo arrival and in that context, 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' can consider itself fortunate to be seeing no competition from a newer film. However this Yash Raj film would still be wary of the fact that there would be 'Bodyguard' from the previous week to be contend with. Though it would get good screen space for itself, 'Bodyguard' running in adjacent scenes/theatres would be something that 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' would have in mind.
Leaving aside competition with 'Bodyguard', this Imran Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer is all set to hold on it's own, courtesy good all around vibe that the film has generated during last 50 odd days of the film's promotion. Film's music by Sohail Sen is a success while the promos promise a light hearted outing as well. Imran Khan has three successful films behind him (Delhi Belly, I Hate Luv Storys and to an extent Break Ke Baad) while Katrina Kaif is fresh out of 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'.
All of this means that the film should take an encouraging start at the box office with opening occupancy in the range of 60%-70%. Weekend collections too should top the 20 crores mark that should take it past the safety mark. Moreover this isn't just a film which is for the youth since the 'family title' would ensure that audience in higher age group would also be happy to give this Ali Abbas Zafar directed film a dekko.
