The first look, teaser and trailer of Ramcharan's 'Thoofan' has been done in Hyderabad. Priyanka Chopra is the female lead in this film. Srihari and Prakash Raj play the key roles in this film, which is directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

Chiranjeevi has arrived as the chief guest for the event. Thanikella Bharani and Srihari launched the logo of the movie, Chiranjeevi launched the trailers and the director Apoorva Lakhia launched the teaser.

Chiranjeevi said, " I felt very happy when this movie started than when Charan's first movie was started. I had not got a chance to act in Bollywood for 13 years since by debut in Telugu. But Charan has got that chance in a very less time in industry. That too Charan acting in a character played by legend,Amitabh, gives me immense pleasure (and I am also some what jealous of him ). He has been proving himself every time. In my career of over 30 years, I am very proud of having a son like Charan than having a huge stardom".

"Coming to the movie, the way the director has made an old subject adding a contemporary issue is praise worthy. His planning is extraordinary and Charan said that the picturization is also very good.There is no doubt that this movie will rock this summer. The movie has all the emotions and it makes the police department proud. Srihari has okayed the Sherkhan role in this movie with a single phone call, which is at first thought to be made with Sonu Sood. I have heard that the team has been spell bounded with his acting. It is more of a sentiment that the Magadheera combination is repeating. Chandra Bose has given good songs. Though Yogi is a director, he has given very good dialogues according to our nativity. I hope this film will become a hat-trick hit for Charan", Chiranjeevi added.

Ramcharan said, "The director is the main reason for starting this project and for the movie coming good. I have delayed this movie at first, with the fear of if I can act in a role played by Amitabh Bachchan , when the director has told me the story. The director has again approached me after 4 months telling that we can make it forgetting it as a remake. The fear has not left me even then. Then I remembered my father saying, " Don't do if you do not like . But don't leave the work only because of fear". So I have taken this role as challeng and done it inspired by those words. I am confident that all would love the movie".

Apoorva Lakhia said, " This is my first telugu movie. Yogi and Kamalakar have helped so much, regarding the dialogues in Telugu. The performances of Charan, Prakash Raj and Srihari are extraordinary. I hope that all would like the teasers and trailers. I confidently say that this is going to be a good movie".

Srihari said, "I had said before that Magadheera will run for an year and that has happened. I am now saying that this 'Thoofan' will draw borders to Andhra Pradesh that cannot be surpassed by anyone. That is the stamina of this movie".

The producers and other team have also attended the event and said that they are planning to release the movie in summer.
