Pooja for Vijay statue

Kollywood is not new when it comes to treating actors and actress like demigods. During the early 90s the fans of actress Kushboo had a statue erected and they almost worshipped it. Joining the bandwagon is our Ilayathalapathy Vijay, a video grab of fans doing Pooja to the actors statue has gone viral. The fans are seen chanting Vijay's name including reciting as Bhairava Vijay ( happens to be the actors previous movie).
The video shows fans reciting in a style similar to how Iyyapa devotees embark on a sacred journey, they are seen chanting 'kadavule Vijay, anbe Vijay, amudhe Vijay, etc' . It's unsure if you he actor has actually seen the footage for comment.
