The Illayathalapathy Vijay-Samantha- Amy Jackson starrer Theri` directed by Atlee and produced by Thanu has become one of the biggest hit of the mass hero`s career and is continuing to draw crowds even after its 50th Day.

During the release of Theri` there were some issues between the distributors and theater owners and eleven theaters in Chengalpattu area could not screen the film. Some theaters of course, unheeded the organization requests and screened the film. The Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association has issued red card against the theaters that screened Theri` in spite of the requests. Popular theaters SSR Pankajam, Ganapathiram and Meera are among the ones affected.
