Ahead of the release of Puli` the film which may be called as one of the costliest and highly grandest film of his career in all sorts, Ilayathalapathi Vijay has made a secret visit to a temple in south Tamil Nadu to offer prayers.

Sources reveal that Vijay visited the Perumal and Andal temple at Srivilliputhur of Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu. Vijay apparently went to the temple in disguise so that no one could identify that it was actually him. The temple chief priest had explained him about the great history and spiritual importance of the temple and Vijay also offered special prayers for the success of Puli` which will be hitting the screens across the globe on October 1.

Within minutes news about Vijay`s visit spread in the town like haywire but Vijay left the place in a jiffy and the fan who had gathered at the temple entrance to have a glimpse of the star had to return disappointed.
