Official announcement on Vijay's next after 'Bairavaa'

Here comes the surprising official announcement on Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 61st film. It has been just announced (@ 20:30 IST on November 17) that the 61st film of Vijay will be directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Films banner. The script has been locked today and hence the announcement has been made on this day.

With this the months long speculation becomes official. The makers have also confirmed that the shooting of this highly exciting project will begin very soon. Until the title is finalized the film will be called as 'Thalapathy61'.

Stay tuned to this space for more interesting updates on 'Thalapathy61' which marks the reunion of Vijay and Atlee after the blockbuster 'Theri'.
