The wait is over and Mersal` is the mass title of Ilayathalapathy Vijay`s 61st film directed by Atlee and produced by Thenadal Studios Ltd. The amazing first look poster shows Vijay in a killer mass avatar donning the rustic mustache with jallikattu as the backdrop.

Mersal` title and first look comes as an advance birthday treat to Vijay fans who will celebrate his D-Day tomorrow the 22nd with double the ecstasy. The Diwali release film that has A.R. Rahman`s music has the stellar cast of Vijay, Kajal Agarwal, Samantha, Nithya Menen, Vadivelu, S.J. Surya, Sathyaraj, Kovai Sarala and Sathyan.
