With two huge successes 'Rajini Murugan' and 'Remo' it wont be an overstatement to say 2016 belonged to Sivakarthikeyan. He is already one of the top stars in the industry today and his next line up films are sure to propel him to bigger heights in the star ladder.

Presently the young and charming actor is shooting for director Mohan Raja's film with a stellar star cast that included Nayanthara, Fahad Faasil, Prakash Raj, Sneha, and RJ Balaji among others. This is the eleventh film of Sivakarthikeyan as an actor and it is referred to as 'SK 11'.

In his New Year Special Red Carpet Interview to IndiaGlitz, Sivakarthikeyan opened up about the film for the first time after starting work on it.

"Its a big film with a strong cast. What will you call 'Thani Oruvan'? It will be that kind of a film. it caan be called as an Action Thriller.; It has a tough content and a proper serious film; it will be a Mohan Raja sir film with Sivakarthikeyan touches."

The film is being produced by RD Raja of 24AM Studios banner. Anirudh Ravichander is rendering the music score while Ramji is handling the cinematography. The producer has confirmed that the film will be hitting the screens on August 25, 2017.
