The shooting of Vijay 60` directed by Bharathan is going on in full swing with the team keen on finishing the talkie portions first and later travelling to Europe to complete the pending songs with Vijay and Keerthy Suresh.

A daring action sequence was all set to be shot in a crowded market place in Pollachi but thousands of fans who wanted to have a glimpse of their idol gathered causing everything to come to a standstill. When Vijay arrived in his caravan he noticed the huge crowd and came out and waved at them. He then reportedly called the team and said that he did not want to cause inconvenience to the public and asked the shoot to be shifted to Chennai. A set resembling Pollachi market is getting ready and the shoot is expected to resume in the first week of September.
