Ilayathalapathy Vijay's grand Pongal release 'Bairavaa' has been holding up well in screens across Tamil Nadu even after the new releases of subsequent weeks. The film directed by Bharathan has been fetching satisfactory collections as the box office despite getting mixed reviews and also at the time when the entire state was focused about the protests for Jallikattu.

Vijay has been following the habit of giving gifts to the unit members of his films after the release of his films in recent years. Vijay is presently busy shooting for 'Thalapathy 61' directed by Atlee.. The shooting started last week at ECR and has been continuing there.
