We have information from highly reliable sources that Vijay was invited to Sivaji`s house by Prabhu for this year`s Vinayakar Chathurthi celebrations and the Ilayathalapathy obliged by making his appearance. After paying salutations to the Nadigar Thilagam portrait it is reported that Vijay joined the legend`s family for lunch where Selvaraghavan was also present. Prabhu then arranged a private room for Selva to narrate his script to Vijay who was very impressed with it and requested some minor changes. Director Kasthuri Raja has also confirmed that the Selva-Vijay meeting happened at Annai Illam. Our sources signed off by saying that it will be a completely different film for both the Ilayathalapathy and the maverick director.
