Vijay's 61st film directed by Atlee completed a major schedule in Chennai with the Ilayathalapathy himself and Nithya Menen. It is now being reported that the team is currently in Jai Salmer the Golden City in Rajasthan for shooting a song and other sequences.
The song in Vijay 61' is said to have Vijay and Nithya Menen featuring in it for which A. R. Rahman has given a delightful tune. As summer has begun Nithya Menen has shared in an interview that the climate on location is scorching hot but she still loves shooting. The film has an ensemble cast including Samantha, Kajal Agarwal, Vadivelu, Sathyan, Sathyaraj, S. J. Suriya and Kovai Sarala. Sri Thenandaal Films are bankrolling this most awaited film of the year 2017.
