It's a known fact that Tamil Film Producers Council has always been working towards the welfare of former producers, including initiation of pension plans. The council had recently begun preparations to organize a grand musical event which will be serving dual purposes - a fundraiser for the cause of the producers, as well as the celebration of musical maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja.

This musical event which will celebrate and honor Isaignani Ilayaraja who turned 75 last year, for his numerous achievements in the industry and for his awards and accomplishments including composing for more than 1000 films, and will have the maestro himself performing along with his team, on February 2 and 3, at YMCA grounds, Nandanam.

With top actors from all industries of south expected to attend this grand event and honor the legend, the latest update on the event is out now. TFPC has announced that the grand ticket launch of this event Ilaiyaraja 75, will be held on January 6 at 4 pm at Mahindra World city during the 5th Tamilnadu International Film Festival, and the highlight of this event will be the presence of TFPC chief Vishal and Ilayaraja in parachute balloons.
