The Tamil Film Producer's Council headed by Vishal made the 'Ilayaraja 75' event a grand success with Sunday's live concert attended by the who is who of Tamil cinema. Kamal Haasan sang the song 'Ninaivo Oru Paravai' from 'Sigappu Rojakkal' along with Shruti Haasan and also 'Unai Vida Intha Ulagathil' from 'Virumandi' and 'Ram Ram' from 'Hey Ram'. Ilayaraja said that Kamal came to visit his studio during 'Sigappu Rojakkal' composing and he made him sing and after listening to his great rendition asked the original singer to leave and recorded the song.

Kamal informed the applauding crowd that Ilayaraja has scored music for 100 films of his. He further added that when he informed the Isaigniani that he is entering politics he encouraged him like an elder brother while his own brother Chaaru Haasan discouraged him.
