The Tamil Film Producers Council headed by Vishal has organized a mega event to felicitate Isaigniani Ilayaraja to be held at YMCA grounds in Chennai on the 2nd and 3rd of February on which days the entire film industry related activities will be halted. JSK Sathish and Radhakrishnan belonging to the rival faction in the Council had approached the High Court seeking a ban on the event citing financial irregularities.

The case came up for hearing and the judge dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence and have also directed the office bearers to submit all accounts at the Annual General body meeting to be held on March 3rd. The deck is now cleared for two nights of the Maestro Ilayaraja's musical bonanza with Superstar Rajinikanth, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman expected to attend.
