Ilavattam
After a good outing in Arindhum Ariyamalum, Navdeep will be back in action with Ilavattam. As the title suggests ,it would be a romantic entertainer with a huge star cast. The likes of Suhasini, Viayakumar, Subalekha Sudhakar are in the cast. A newcomer Sheela plays the heroine.
The movie has action, romance and humor at the equal proportion and would leave an impact with the masses, says the director.
Heaping laurels on Navdeep, he says, 'He has been very spontaneous and his enthusiasm to excel in this role floored me. Equally supportive has been Sheela. Though she is just making her beginning, she has acquired a lot of knowledge in acting and did give her best on the screen.'
On casting Suhasini, he says, ' When I conceived the story, I had Suhasini in my mind for a character. Initially hesitant, she listened to the story and immediately decided to be part of the movie. Shooting for the movie was a pleasant experience. The movie features me in a different role and would help me consolidate my place in the industry.'
'Being a bilingual; (made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously), the movie has a story which would suit both film-buffs of both the languages', he adds. 'Heaping laurels on Mani Sharma for his peppy musical score, the songs are already topping the audio charts. His background score is also enthralling.'
