As announced earlier the first film of actor-producer Dhanush's Wunderbar Films will be 'Amma Kanakku', the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Hindi film 'Nil Battey Sannata'. Ashwini Iyer Tiwari who directed the original will be wielding the megaphone for the Tamil version also. The film revolves around the relationship of a mother and a daughter.

Revathi and Amala Paul will be playing the lead roles as mom and daughter in Amma Kanakku with Samuthirakani playing an important male character. The shooting of the film started last week.

Now 'Amma Kanakku' has got much bigger as Isaignani Ilaiyaraja has joined the crew as the music director. Dhanush has confirmed the news in his official Twitter handle. This will be the first film for Wunderbar Films with the maestro.

Dhanush has mentioned Ilaiyaraja's music as the "blessing " for the film 'Amma Kanakku'.
