We all know that Makkal Nayagan Ramarajan has won millions of fans with his impeccable performances in many films throughout his career. This veteran superstar is making a comeback in Tamil cinema after many years and the golden combo of Ilaiyaraja and Ramarajan is happening once again.

Both Ramarajan and Ilaiyaraaja have been a successful combo and have a series of blockbuster movies under their collaboration. In fact, Ilaiyaraaja has been the backbone in bringing success to many of the actor's movies.

The actor personally met music director Ilaiyaraaja. "It was a casual meeting, in which Ramarajan spoke about his comeback and requested Raaja sir that it would be nice if he composes music for this film, for which the Isaignani instantly agreed," a press statement from the film's team informs.

Sharing about this new collaboration, director R Rajesh said, “After completing the script of Saamaniyan, Ramarajan sir seemed perfect for the lead character. The reason is that audiences and film lovers always consider Ramarajan sir as the best illustration of ‘Common Man’ on the big screen. Besides, this script was worthy enough for him to make his comeback. Filmmaker Gangai Amaren sir has been one of the major reasons for shaping the successful journey of Ramarajan. This meeting between Ramarajan and Ilaiyaraaja happened only because of Gangai Amaren sir, and I thank him for this great gesture."

He says that around 60% of the film’s shooting has already been completed. "Ramarajan, MS Bhaskar and Radharavi have delivered outstanding performances, and it is indeed a blessing for me to direct them together," added the director.
