It has been found that several parties have been making use of Isaignani Ilaiyaraja's photos during campaigns.

To avoid any controversy regarding Ilayaraja's political stand, it has been notified from the musical maestro's side that several political parties are misusing his photos, giving people an impression that he's supporting them, and insisted not to use his name or photos for political benefits.
