As we had reported earlier Isaignani Ilaiyaraja will be scoring music for a new Tamil film titled as 'Muthuramalingam' with Gautham Karthik as the male lead. The film is being directed by Rajadurai with U.K. Senthil Kumar handling the camera and K.B. Srikanth is taking care of editing. The film is being produced by D.Vijaya Prakash under the Global Media Works banner.

Now we learn that Ilaiyaraja has teamed up with veteran film producer and lyricist Panchu Arunachalam for this film after a long gap of 15 years. Panchu Arunachalam has penned all the songs of the film.

It is worth noting that it was Panchu Arunachalam was instrumental in the maestro debuting as a music composer in film industry with 'Annakili' that released in 1976. The rest as they say is history.
