Kamal Haasan and Ilaiyaraja are the two legends whose combination has resulted in many classics in the 1990s and the earliest years of the new millennium. The last film they teamed up was for 'Mumbai Express' directed by Singeetham Srinivasa Rao which released in the year 2005.

As the young music director Ghibran has been scoring music for the recent Kamal Haasan films that include 'Viswaroopam 2', 'Uttama Villain', 'Papanasam' and 'Thoongavanam', it was expected that he will be teaming up again with the legendary actor to head the music department of Director Rajeev Kumar's multi-lingual with Kamal Haasan, Amala Akkineni and Zarina Wahab.

But now sources reveal that talks are taking place with Isaignani Ilaiyaraja to score music for this film, which has been titled as 'Appa Amma Vilaiyattu' in Tamil and 'Amma Naana Aata' in Telugu. We will have to wait for an official confirmation though.

The film will be entirely shot in the USA and the shooting is expected to begin soon.
