Alia Bhatt got emotional while shooting 'Ikk Kudi' song

'Udta Punjab' is soon becoming the album of the season. After "Chita Ve" song took the audiences on a trippy musical ride, the next song "Ikk Kudi" is set to add another color to the eclectic album. Adding a new dimension to the music, "Ikk Kudi" is a soulful melody that depicts Ali Bhatt's journey in the film.
Recalling the making of the song, Alia said, "When I heard the track for the first time, I instantly fell in love with it. In fact, while shooting for the soulful song, I got emotionally moved."
Another high point is that Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has debuted as singer with "Ikk Kudi". While he has sung the song, it is picturised on both of them. When contacted, Diljit shared, "I was extremely glad to know that Shri Shiv Kumar Batalvi's poem Ikk Kudi would be featured in my debut Hindi film. And more that I am so excited and happy that I got to sing it. It was really an experience which will always be special for me. I hope people like the song as much as I do."
With every new asset, the anticipation from 'Udta Punjab only seems to be growing. Tagged as the buzziest trailer of the year, Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Phantom Productions, 'Udta Punjab' is directed by Abhishek Chaubey and is set to release on June 17th 2016.
