IIFA Utsavam award: NTR accepts it with grace

Given that 'Janatha Garage' worked mainly due to performances, it's not surprising that its male lead was given away the Best Actor award at the prestigious IIFA Utsavam Awards, 2017.
NTR, the super-talented Nandamuri actor, accepted the same with grace, saying that such an award indicated the Telugu film industry's collective endeavour. He also requested the other nominees to share in the award with him. The award was given away on the hands of Nagarjuna.
In a year when the Young Tiger had two back-to-back hits ('Nannaku Prematho' and 'JG'), both of which had splendid performances from the actor, he also ruled the box office.
Playing the role of a gutsy environmental crusader, NTR as Anand struck a seasoned chemistry with his co-star Complete Actor Mohanlal and delivered lines like these with ease: 'Pratheedi chinnade, Nature tho polisthe'.
IIFA Utsavam has recognized the right talent, indeed.
