The Indian Panorama is regarded as the flagship component of the International Film festival of India (IFFI). The festival will be held for eight days from November 20 in Goa.
The news is that 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' and 'Akhanda' have been chosen to be streamed under the Mainstream Cinema Section at the festival. Out of five mainstream films, two are from Tollywood. 'The Kashmir Files' (Hindi), 'Tonic' (Bengali' and 'Dharmveer' (Marathi) are the other ones.
The choices are a testimony to the popularity enjoyed by the films made by SS Rajamouli and Boyapati Srinu. The fans of Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Nandamuri Balakrishna are happy over the news. 'RRR' was released in Japanese theatres on Friday (Oct 21) in Japanese.
Besides the above two big-ticket outings, two other feature films made by Tollywood are also going to be screened. They are 'Khudiram Bose' (a biopic on the freedom fighter by the same name) and 'Cinema Bandi' (streaming on Netflix). The former is directed by Vidya Sagar Raju and the latter is directed by Kandregula Praveen.
