Recently, the Telangana Film Chamber wrote an open letter, addressed to the Chief Minister, saying that the whole industry shouldn't be scandalized for the mistakes of a few.

Ram Gopal Varma has found fault with the tone of the letter and certain wordings. He feels that the Chamber shouldn't have written the letter when no person has been held guilty. "What are they apologizing for?" he questions.

"Who told you that some people have done mistakes? Instead of taking on those authorities who have painted some individuals as guilty even without any proof of guilt, the Chamber is speaking as if conclusions have been made in the case," RGV opines.

"I have a request to make to those who have received notices. If you have any self-respect/pride, if you are ready to feel moral responsibility for the trauma suffered by your family members and well-wishers, you should write an open letter on the allegations you have faced," RGV advises.

He has it that not speaking up out of fear that the authorities may go after them would be cowardice.
