Chandrababu Naidu's ongoing Dharma Porata Deeksha in Delhi has seen the attendance of former PM Manmohan Singh, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and others. Tomorrow, Mamata Banerjee will visit Delhi to support the AP CM's fight for special status for Andhra Pradesh.
Interacting with a TV channel, Naidu said that he is ready to team up with YSRCP with national interests in mind. "If the party has national interests in view, let it come to us. If Jagan wins even one or two Lok Sabha seats, he can support us in our struggle for special status (post elections)," Naidu said.
The TDP supremo alleged that Jagan was behind the mobilization of crowds for Narendra Modi's Guntur rally on Sunday. "If not, the crowds wouldn't have been possible," he said.
Naidu took potshots at vice-president Venkaiah Naidu for making a U-turn on the social status issue.
