Nandamuri Balakrishna was there at SIIMA awards in Dubai most recently. He was accompanied by Rana Daggubati, who is his 'NTR' co-star.
When the host was congratulating Rana on being nominated for the Best Villain role (Bhallaladeva, 'Baahubali-2'), Balayya interrupted and spoken in his own style. "I too want to do negative roles. But I am scared. If I do a villain's role, there are going to be many (police) cases on me," he said, guffawing with abandon.
About playing his father's role in his upcoming biopic, Balayya said, "The movie is coming out the way it should. People are asking me as to how Vidya Balan ji, Rana etc are on board. Everything that we want for the shooting, they are falling into place on a platter. This film was meant to be. This is one of the most special films in my career. Satakarni was also a special role because even my father had never played such a role," the Nandamuri Nata Simha said.
