Karthi is upbeat that in seven days, 'Kaashmora' has collected Rs. 15 cr in Telugu. The dark fantasy-comedy has been declared a hit, thus.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, the talented Kollywoodian said today that the response has been huge and unexpected. "This is not a regular movie, but a socio-fantasy with enough scope for performance. The historical portions and Rajnayak's character have been thoroughly enjoyed by the audience," he said.
Saying that his brother Suriya liked the movie a lot, he shared an anecdote. "Annayya (brother) watched the movie in the theatre and laughed a lot while watching the interval block. He told me he had not laughed so much in a long time. He liked the second half as well and thus posted his views on social media," Karthi said.
Asked if he would ever play a negative role, the 'Oopiri' actor said, "I won't play a full-fledged villain's role. If 'annayya' is the hero, I am ready, though."
His film with Mani Ratnam will have been done after eight days' shoot. If he will be seen as a military officer in the movie, he will do a cop story in his next.
