“If Ambition and Action Unite, Anything is Possible”: Director Shankar Applauds Chief Minister Vijay!

As a new chapter begins in Tamil Nadu politics, several leading stars from the film industry have been extending their congratulations to Chief Minister Joseph Vijay. In that line, the congratulatory message posted by grandmaster director Shankar on his social media page is currently going viral on the internet.

In Director Shankar’s films, the central theme often involves a lone individual changing ‘the system’ and ascending to power through a struggle for his ideals. Highlighting this parallel, Shankar noted in his post:

“You have shattered the claims that such things are only possible in cinema and proved that if ambition and action unite, anything is possible. My heartfelt congratulations to Chief Minister Joseph Vijay.”

When Vijay’s entry into politics was confirmed, critics argued that while such feats happen in movies, they are difficult in real-world politics. However, Shankar released this post to commend how Vijay defied those criticisms to take charge as the Chief Minister today.

This tribute from Director Shankar is seen as an endorsement of the massive success Vijay has achieved in his political journey. For Shankar, who directed stories like the ‘One Day CM’ (Mudhalvan) in cinema, congratulating a real-life CM today has sparked immense excitement among fans.
