Idhu Kadhal Varum Paruvam
After a short interval, director Kasthoori Raja is back into direction. His Kadhal Varum Paruvam stars two newcomers besides actress Kiran playing an important role.
Apart from producing and directing the movie, Kasthoori Raja has scored the music too.
Seemingly a logical sequel to his Thulluvatho Illamai, the movie features debutants Harishkumar and Lakshmipriya in the lead roles, while Kiran plays a model in the movie.
Big names like Vairamuthu, Balakumaran and Rambo Rajkumar are associated with the movie. As the title suggests, it would be a film on adolescent youth and their romance. This is what Kasthoori Raja says about the project.
'It would be a movie for the youth, who throng theatres in large numbers.'
Composing music was a different experience. Having been with the likes of Ilayaraja, I developed a passion for music. The songs have come good, adds Kasthoori Raja.
Asked why was there such a big gap in his career, he says, 'I was keen on stabilizing the career of my sons - actor Dhanush and director Selvaraghavan. As a responsible father, I took time to help them stand on their own legs. Having achieved it, I am back to what I know - directing movies'.
On Kadhal Varum Paruvam, he says 'It's my dream project which would click. Kiran not just oozes glamour but has also given a mature performance'.
