Director Seenu Ramasamy's 'Idam Porul Yaeval' starring Vijay Sethupathi, Vishnu Vishal, Aishwarya Rajesh and Nandita Shwetha, was ready for release in 2014 itself but was stalled in court due to financial issues. Now after 8 years, the court has allowed the release of the film.

The trailer of the film that has music by Yuvanshankar Raja has been released by producer N. Linguswamy who bankrolled it under his banner Thirupathi Brothers. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.

The 'Idam Porul Yaeval' trailer shows the lives of downtrodden estate workers Pandi and Aasaithambi who are forced to turn to crime and end up as terrorists and murderers. There is also parallel romance tracks of Vijay Sethupathi and Nandita Shwetha and Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Rajesh. The signature Seenu Ramaswamy touch of filming the events as naturally as possible is evident here too and the screenplay promises to be an intense one.

Fans of Vijay Sethupathi will get a rare chance to witness him on screen in a role that he portrayed during his formative years before attaining pan Indian stardom.
