'Idam Jagath', which tells the story of a photo-journalist played by Sumanth, has completed its post-production works. Touted to be an engaging dark thriller, this Vizag-based drama will undergo Censor formalities soon and will head to theatres on December 14.

"We are happy with the way the film has shaped up. Anju Kurien of 'Premam' fame is the heroine," the makers say. Directed by debutant Anil Srikantam, the film is touted to be novel.

"Sumanth is going to surprise the audience in a negative role for the first time. The Teaser has got a great response. The story and the characters will intrigue the audience," the makers add.

Shivaji Raja, Priyadarshini Ram, Aditya Menon, Kalyan Vithavu and Shafi are part of the cast. Comedian Sathya and others are also seen.

The much-happening man of the 'Kshanam' and 'Goodachari', Sricharan Pakala, has composed the music. Balreddy P's visuals are dark, in keeping with the genre. Garry BH's cuts are expected to be perfect. Jonnalagadda Padmavate and Gangapatnam Sridhar have produced the movie on Viraat Films and Sri Vignesh Karthik Cinemas.
