Official: ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 full schedule announced

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the fixtures for the upcoming Men's T20 World Cup. India will be playing against Pakistan in a group-stage encounter on October 24.

The tournament, which is scheduled to be held in UAE and Oman, will kickstart from October 17 while the final to be played in Dubai on November 14. India will face off against Pakistan in Dubai on October 24 in a Super 12 Group 2 match. India will then be playing against New Zealand on October 31 and Afghanistan on November 3.

The group will conclude on November 8, with India taking on the second-placed Round 1 qualifier from Group A. Abu Dhabi will be hosting the first semi-final on November 10 while the second semi-final will be held in Dubai on November 11. The final match will subsequently be held on November 14 (Sunday), with November 15 (Monday) acting as the reserve day.

India's fixtures at the tournament are as follows -

India vs Pakistan - October 24 (6 pm local time in Dubai)

India vs New Zealand - October 31 (6 pm local time in Dubai)

India vs Afghanistan - November 3 (6 pm local time in Abu Dhabi)

India vs B1 (qualifier) - November 5 (6 pm local time in Dubai)

India vs A2 (qualifier) - November 8 (6 pm local time in Dubai)

Defending champions West Indies, along with England, Australia, South Africa are part of Group 1 with two qualifiers from Round 1 joining them. India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and New Zealand, and the other two qualifiers from Round 1 are in Group 2 of Super 12s.

Round 1 (Qualifying stage):

Group A - Sri Lanka, Ireland, Netherlands, Namibia

Group B - Bangladesh, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, Oman

Super 12s (Final round):

Group 1 - Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, A1, B2

Group 2 - India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, B1, A2
