In what the Indian government has declared “a major victory” for India, Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan announced the release of Wing Commander Abhinandan to his home country as a gesture of peace a couple of hours ago.

It has been confirmed by government sources that Abhinandan will be brought back to India tomorrow (March 1) afternoon through the Wagah border in Punjab.

Abhinandan Varthaman, an IAF MiG 21 Bison pilot, was captured by the Pakistani Army yesterday after his aircraft crossed the LoC during a counter-attack that was launched.
