Abhinandan, an IAF MiG 21 Bison pilot, was captured by the Pakistani Army yesterday after his aircraft crossed the LoC during a counter-attack that was launched.
A recent report confirmed that Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan has ordered the release of the Wing Commander tomorrow (March 1) as a peace gesture.
A Pakistani F-16 jet that violated the line of control early yesterday morning in the Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district was shot down in Indian retaliatory fire in Nowshera’s Lam valley, following which counter-attacks were launched by the IAF.
