Abhinandan arrives in India at last!

Captured IAF pilot Abhinandan Varthaman, whose release to India was ordered by Pakistan PM Imran Khan yesterday, has finally arrived at the Attari-Wagah border at 5.20 pm IST and has been handed over to the Indian government, much to the delight of citizens across the country.

A massive crowd of people gathered at the Attari Joint Check Post in the morning to await the return of the brave Wing Commander. Abhinandan’s parents, who had flown down to Delhi from Chennai, received a standing ovation from the passengers and the airline staff.

Abhinandan Varthaman was captured by the Pakistani Army on Wednesday after his MiG-21 Bison fighter jet was hit by Pakistan Air Force jets near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
